Converge Conference exists to provide a gracious and forbearing forum for discussing issues of theology, methodology, and philosophy impacting independent Baptist churches and pastors in our current cultural climate without the fear of condemnation over differing views. Further, it is our heart to help each minister to carefully defend and delineate his position with sound Biblical exegesis built on a literal, grammatical, and historical approach to the Scriptures. Knowing that there is safety in a multitude of counsellors, we must all be aware that there is no counsel against the Lord. Disagreements are expected, but division over these issues is not. We ask every participant to guard their spirit, their responses, and their demeanor during all interactions and conversations.
